# Connection

This is step-by-step instructions for connecting to the Recometrics platform. The process includes first-time account setup, security configuration, and future logins.

## First Login & Password Setup

Upon account creation by a Datanumia administrator, you will receive an email from "[no-reply@verificationemail.com](mailto:no-reply@verificationemail.com)" containing a temporary password.

**Check your spam folder if the email is not in your inbox.**

## Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) Setup

Upon your first successful login to the Recometrics platform at [https://recometrics.datanumia.com](https://recometrics.datanumia.com), you will be prompted to configure Two-Factor Authentication (2FA).

A QR code will be displayed on the screen.

Using your preferred TOTP (Time-Based One-Time Password) authenticator app (e.g., Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator), scan the QR code.

Enter the 6-digit code generated by the app into the Recometrics interface to complete the setup.

This is a one-time configuration per device.

## Logins

For all future connections to the platform:

Navigate to [https://recometrics.datanumia.com](https://recometrics.datanumia.com).

Enter your email and password.

Provide the 6-digit code from your authenticator app to access your account.
