Datanumia provides a suite of solutions that connect compatible manufacturers’ smart devices to its Home service platform. As part of this offering, it provides Home customers with services to manage the entire lifecycle of smart energy devices: • Simplification of device connection to the platform, notably through a webview that abstracts the complexity of access and authorization management. • Management of customer consent and withdrawal, including collection, storage, and renewal of authorizations with partners. • Access to device-generated data via generic APIs (organized into “capabilities”), ensuring that data is formatted uniformly regardless of the device manufacturer. • Ability to control devices through generic APIs (also organized into “capabilities”), ensuring that control commands are sent in a standardized format, regardless of the device manufacturer. • Implementation of smart Control Scenarios that enable the automation of various home appliances to enhance user comfort while reducing energy costs. Datanumia offers a suite of APIs designed to integrate connected devices from the energy sector into its service platform. These APIs simplify device connectivity, facilitate access to collected data, and enable remote management through control commands.

Datanumia Hub ecosystem

Datanumia’s approach is guided by a key principle: the standardization of interfaces, regardless of the diversity of devices involved. Each device function is accessible via a unique API, defined by its “Capability.” For example, the GET_TEMPERATURE_CURRENT capability allows to get the current temperature measured by a connected device, ensuring consistent and centralized management of interactions with these devices. This section will outline the technical and functional scope of Datanumia’s Smart Home APIs, components, and processes.
